In addition to his Arneis and Nebbiolo, Giovanni Almondo also produces a distinctive Barbera d’Alba DOC. Barbera is the most cultivated red grape variety in Piedmont and is known for its lively acidity, ripe red fruit, and supple tannin structure. The “Valbianchera” is the classic line of the domain for this appellation.

Dark ruby red, with ripe cherries and red fruit, a fresh acidity, and a smooth, warm finish. A gastronomic wine for the daily table.
