In addition to his Arneis and Nebbiolo, Giovanni Almondo also produces a characterful Barbera d'Alba DOC. Barbera is the most widely cultivated red grape variety in Piedmont and is known for its lively acidity, ripe red fruit, and smooth tannin structure. The “Valbianchera” is the estate's classic line for this appellation.
