The “Vecchie Viti” is Giovanni Almondo’s premium Barbera d’Alba, sourced from vines over 100 years old: a selection of old vines that yield a richer, more concentrated expression than the classic line. Old vines produce fewer grapes but of higher quality—resulting in a wine with greater depth, complexity, and aging potential.

Dark ruby red, with an intense and rich profile, ripe cherries and dark fruit, a beautiful structure and a long, warm finish.
