Gavi Riserva DOCG “Madonnina” 2021 — La Raia
La Raia operates according to biodynamic principles and has a strong focus on living soil, biodiversity, and respect for the natural ecosystem. The estate is located in Novi Ligure, in the Gavi region of southern Piedmont.
The “Madonnina” is La Raia's Riserva: a selection of the estate's best Cortese grapes, aged longer than standard Gavi DOCG regulations require. The result is a wine with more depth, complexity, and aging potential than classic Gavi.
Straw yellow with golden hues, a complex aromatic profile of ripe white fruits, hazelnut, and subtle spicy notes. Full-bodied and structured on the palate, with a long, mineral finish.
